What is the Gallatin County CASA/GAL Program?

The Gallatin County CASA/GAL Program is a non-profit corporation dedicated to advocating for abused and neglected children through the court system and helping them to attain safe, loving and permanent homes. It is one of 933 CASA/GAL Programs that are recruiting, training and supporting volunteer advocates in 49 states.  The Gallatin County CASA/GAL Program is under the umbrella of the National CASA Association in Seattle, Washington.  In Gallatin County the volunteer advocates are typically referred to as Guardians ad Litem (GAL's) but they are also officially CASA's (Court Appointed Special Advocates) due to our affiliation with the National CASA Organization.
