The HRDC provides comprehensive assistance in housing issues ranging from homelessness to home ownership. Their housing programs work to ensure that every member of the community can afford to have and preserve a place to call home, whether it is in the form of emergency shelter, transitional housing, affordable rentals, rental subsidies, down payment assistance, home buyer education and counseling, or foreclosure prevention. HRDC incorporates its community development and strategic planning initiatives into a housing strategy to meet both the needs of the community and their customers. Services include providing affordable properties, home ownership counseling, down payment assistance, housing first initiatives, foreclosure interventions, homebuyer education and rental assistance.
